Q: How old do students have to be to take part in ATI opportunities?

A: Age requirements vary according to the opportunity. The first opportunities available are the Counseling Seminars for those 14 and up, COMMIT for girls 11–16, and teaching Children’s Institutes for students 14 and up. We highly recommend these foundational training opportunities. Please review the information about the opportunity you are interested in to find out specific age requirements.

Q: What if I cannot afford ATI opportunities?

A: For those in need, financial assistance may be available through individual programs or Training Centers. Contact a specific program for more information.

Keep in mind that history proves the faithfulness of the Lord to provide for those who have abandoned themselves to His will. The Lord often uses financial provision (or the lack thereof) to reveal His will to His people. Therefore, you can be grateful that you are in a position where the Lord is able to direct you, and be confident that when He calls you, He will also provide for you.

Hudson Taylor, George Muller, and many other heroes of the faith were in positions of need during their ministries, and they experienced the Lord’s faithful provision. We can also recall numerous testimonies of ATI families for whom the Lord has miraculously provided, whether through gifts from others or creative ideas of how to earn money.

These testimonies of the Lord’s provision glorify His name before a world that is wondering if He has the power to provide for the needs of His children. How exciting to know that He does have that power and that He will continue to provide for all of our needs. Perhaps He will give you the next testimony of His miraculous provision!

Q: Do I need to be invited to participate in opportunities?

A: No! Truly, the need for laborers is great. Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” If you would like to serve in a particular area, call and find out more information! ATI enrollment may be a requirement.

Q: Can parents participate in ATI opportunities?

A: Many opportunities are open to parents participating with their sons and daughters. Review the program information or call the program of your choice to find out if this is possible.

Q: Can a student participate in opportunities before graduating from high school?

A: For most opportunities, high school graduation is not required. Training through some programs may actually be applied toward high school education. Some opportunities do require completion of high school requirements. See the prerequisites for the program of your choice to learn more.

Please take note most ATI student programs are full time. Due to the intense training schedule, time may not be available for personal studies.

Q: If my son or daughter needs additional training beyond what is offered through ATI, do you have any recommendations?

A: Most ATI opportunities were initiated by young people who needed additional training! They took a step of faith toward realizing their goals, and in the process they have made it possible for thousands of other students to benefit from their initiative. Read testimonies about how these students put strategic objectives in action!
